Prajha Trust
All children need love, encouragement, and support, and for kids with learning disabilities, such positive reinforcement can help ensure that they emerge with a strong sense of self-worth, confidence, and the determination to keep going even when things are tough. In searching for ways to help children with learning disabilities, remember that you are looking for ways to help them help themselves. Prajha Trust believes that Your job as a parent is not to “cure” the learning disability but to give your child the social and emotional tools they need to work through challenges. In the long run, facing and overcoming a challenge such as a learning disability can help your child grow stronger and more resilient. Always remember that the way you behave and respond to challenges has a big impact on your child. A good attitude won’t solve the problems associated with a learning disability, but it can give your child hope and confidence that things can improve and that they will eventually succeed.

Transforming Spaces:
As part of our commitment, we adopt parks and play areas, turning them into vibrant and inclusive spaces for children with learning disabilities. These transformed areas are designed to cater to the unique needs of these children, providing them with a safe and enjoyable environment for play and learning.

Learning disabled students are brilliant and require a change in the educational technique. It’s also based on years of research that indicates that when inclusive education is done successfully, children gain self-confidence, a good self-image, social behaviours, as well as the academic and other. It encourages parents to participate in their children’s education as well as the activities of their local schools. Inclusive settings create a typical life for children who are accepted by their peers, have friends and lead regular lives. Mr.Caretaker (a wing of Prajha Trust) recognises the benefits of inclusive education and plans to adopt government schools for the inclusion of children with learning difficulties alongside regular students. They seek to fund classroom expenses such as table costs, lab costs, and so on.
Early intervention camp
To ensure timely support, we organize early intervention camps that serve as a crucial platform for assessments and interventions. These camps bring together experts, educators, and caregivers, creating an invaluable opportunity for early identification and tailored interventions for children with learning disabilities. Screening and Assessment: Offer developmental screenings to identify potential delays or disorders in children. This will include speech, motor, sensory and behavioral assessments. Therapeutic Intervention: Demonstrate early intervention techniques for parents, including exercises to develop speech, motor and social skills, based on the child’s unique needs. Resource Distribution: Provide parents with guides, pamphlets and referrals to local healthcare providers, therapy centers and special education facilities.

Whether it's recognizing the accomplishments of individuals or commemorating successful initiatives, these images capture the joy and pride of our collective efforts. Emotional and Psychological Counseling: Provide sessions to help parents manage stress, anxiety and challenges associated with raising a child with special needs. Establish parent groups to share experiences and form a community of mutual support.
Special Parents Empowerments
Recognizing the importance of dedicated caregivers, we provide financial assistance to individuals committed to offering services to children with learning disabilities. By supporting these caregivers, we aim to build a strong network of individuals passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of these children.. Mr. Caretaker provides financial support to service providers like auto men, housemaids, caterers etc. A timely financial help like providing advance money to auto drivers to buy an auto, purchasing utensils and groceries to caterers will provide a livelihood to them. Also, scholarships will be offered to the deserving needy therapists or persons doing Ph.D. related to special education needs. Through skill development trainings will create a pathway for parents to access the knowledge, skills and resources needed to improve their financial situation, reduce their dependence on external assistance, and provide better opportunities for their families. Parents will receive training in high-demand skills such as digital marketing, graphic design, online tutoring, handicrafts, e-commerce, Gold Appraiser, Property Valuer, Montessori expert, virtual executive for GST/ IT/ Pay roll/ HR statutory/ e- Seva and other work-from-home opportunities.
Autism Awareness camp
Our team is dedicated to raising awareness about learning disabilities within communities and government schools. Through various outreach programs, we aim to break down stigmas and misconceptions surrounding learning disabilities, fostering a more understanding and inclusive society. Educational Workshops: Organize interactive workshops at schools, Institutions, Hospitals, work places and public places led by developmental pediatricians, psychologists, therapists and educators to provide information on recognizing signs of disabilities and early intervention methods. Awareness Sessions for Communities: Focus on destigmatizing disabilities and encouraging community acceptance and inclusion of children with special needs
Mentor Mentee
Peer Support Groups: Parent-to-parent learning and support networks where families can share experiences, challenges and resources. This creates a strong support system for special parents.
• Support Groups: Creating online or in-person support groups where parents can discuss their concerns and share practical advice.
• Accessible Resources: Developing easy-to-understand, practical guides for parents on how to implement strategies at home. This includes how to manage daily routines, enhance the child’s communication and handle behavioral issues..
