Dr. Basil is located in Annerley and has his patient’s best interests at heart. Basil was born in Brisbane, a local all of his life. Dr. Basil graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1987, before beginning his first job as a Dentist at the Brisbane Dental Hospital in 1988. In 1991, he moved to the Mitchelton Dental Centre, where he stayed for two years. He started his practice in Annerley in May 1994 and will celebrate 23 years of his practice and 30 years of being a Dentist in 2017. Since starting in Annerley in 1994, Dr. Basil has treated over 10,000 patients.

A highly-experienced Dentist, but Dr. Basil is not only a Dentist he is an oral physician. Dr. Basil, after 30 years of practice, is an oral physician as he looks at more than just teeth and gums. He will assess other areas of health associated with the head and neck region.

Dr. Basil is committed to professional development and staying abreast of new technology and he remains an active member of the Australian Dental Association (1988-present) where he also holds professional registration, and with the Dental Board of Australia (July 2010-present). He has had a long-term interest in the science behind root canal therapy and he has been a member of the Australian Society for Endodontology (1996-present).
